Antique -1900's French Style Filet Netting Lace Twin Coverlet with Satin Ribbon Trim 82" x 97" This lovely Twin Bed Coverlet is in nice condition for their age. It has no label or tag to know what they are made of or where. No stains or Odors, They do have holes in the knitted lace mostly on the skirts. Most small holes some about 3". They will need to be mended if you wanted to use for everyday use. I do not know the correct way to repair them and have left then as they are. The color is a light pinkish tan color. I asked my family and the color went from dark tan to very light pink. Most of my pictures were taken without a flash so I guess it will depend on the lighting. The material is very thin fish net with embroidery. The design on the knit looks like embroidery in a floral and swirl design. They have a 17" skirt with a 3/4" satin ribbon trim at bottom of coverlet and at skirt edging all around where it is gathered to top of spread. A rare and unique coverlet that could be repaired or used as fabric to make something entirely new for fashion or home decor. Please see all photos and ask questions. I did use them at my Cabin for a bit even with the issues, they worked and looked great. This belonged to a friend of mine that had been collecting Antique Linens for over 50 years. Bed used in Photos is a Queen ( please use the zoom feature to view condition closely ) ~ Generally in lovely condition for it's age , but not without some sighs of time and use often inherent in these gorgeous textiles! Coverlet has been Hand Washed and will arrive carefully wrapped, ready to be enjoyed. Measurements: Two Coverlets- 82" wide 96" long. Weight-1 pound Thank you for looking.
